The Peace Kids Youth Ambassador Program

"The Peace Kids is a network of kids and young people just like you who want to help change the world and make it a better place for all of us.
"If one person can make a difference, imagine what all of us can do together."
Ken Baumann, star of "The Secret Life of an American Teenager"
The Peace Kids Youth Ambassador Program started with Larissa, now our Senior Youth Ambassador. At twelve years old Larissa went to Rome with TheCommunity.com, to take part in the Annual Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates. While there she interviewed George Clooney and Don Cheadle about what kids can do to make a better world.
Larissa soon recruited her friend Jessica, who was our second Youth Ambassador. Jessica, an Internet wizard, set up a Facebook page for The Peace Kids. Within one hour she had 180 kids signed up!
These girls are serious about The Peace Kids, and they don't think small. Soon we had our third Youth Ambassador. We had to create another category for him -- Celebrity Youth Ambassador -- because it's Ken Baumann, start of NBC's The Secret Life of an American Teenager!
At our St. Paul's event launching the mosquito net program, we got more than 20 new Youth Ambassadors signed up and ready to take The Peace Kids back to their schools.
